BugFatal is the field notebook of an independent developer: the apps I publish — free, ad-free — and what I learn building them.
This domain first hosted a Windows software shop. That activity has ceased; I now develop under my own name.
What you will find here
- The apps, each with its documentation and its privacy policy.
- The blog: technical notes, accounts of what broke and why, and occasionally an opinion about the craft.
What I do with your data
Nothing. This is the point I want to be clearest about, because it is the only one that affects you.
On this site
There is no account, no form, no cart and no comments: you can read the whole site without ever typing anything.
- No analytics — no Google Analytics, no equivalent.
- No advertising, no tracking pixel, no social media button.
- Nothing loaded from a third-party server, not even a font: everything your browser downloads comes from bugfatal.com.
- No cookie banner, because there is nothing to ask you. The details are in the cookie policy.
There is no user database behind this site. A data access request would receive a negative answer, for lack of any data to hand over.
In the apps
The same principle, applied to software: no account, no sign-up, no advertising, no in-app purchases. They work offline; what you do in them stays on your device and disappears when you uninstall.
Every app publishes its own policy, written from what its code actually does: permissions requested, data kept on the device, libraries embedded.
Why I insist
When the shop closed, the customer database was deleted — accounts, addresses, order histories, payment details. That is by far the most important thing that has happened to this domain.
It is not a pose, it is a method: data that does not exist cannot leak, cannot be sold, and requires neither consent nor an erasure procedure.
